Announcing the appointment of Matthias Nijs as its new Vice President of EMEA Sales to continue accelerating its momentum in the region. A key member of the Datadobi EMEA team for the last seven years, Nijs most recently served as a territory manager and will lead the regional sales team with a remit to continue to expand Datadobi across EMEA, enhance the company’s partner program, and work closely with customers to optimize their unstructured data storage environments. Nijs will report to Chief Revenue Officer Michael Jack.

Announcing the appointment of Charlie Collins as the company’s new Americas Channel Sales Director. In this role, Collins will be responsible for developing and managing strategic plans with focus partners to accelerate the company’s overall channel momentum in North America. Collins will capitalize on the company’s long history of success in the channel and be responsible for fostering strong relationships with Datadobi’s partner network. He will report directly to Paul Repice, VP of Americas Sales, at Datadobi. 

Datadobi released new Starter Packs for DobiMigrate ranging from 1PB up to 7PB. The latest offering is purpose-built to bolster unstructured data management projects’ success in data-heavy, high-volume environments. The new Starter Packs will enable channel partners and end users to accelerate digital transformation and conduct data management projects to any storage platform or cloud environment.

Datadobi announced it has validated Google Cloud Storage as an endpoint for data replication in addition to data migration. As a result, users of the DobiProtect software suite can now replicate data held on any S3-compatible object storage to Google Cloud Storage or vice versa. The news comes shortly after the company announced support for Azure Blob storage in the DobiProtect software suite.  

DobiMigrate Version 5.13 new API programmatically configures unstructured data migrations on-premises and in the cloud and is the next step in Datadobi’s roadmap of new features.
